Anong Bunket is Sr Senior Manager F&A and Cost control at Sunstar Chemical Thailand. She’s been part of Sunstar since 2004.
What did you want to be when you were a kid?
As a child, I dreamed of becoming a teacher, teaching children in the mountains.
How would your friends describe you?
They would say that I am a hard worker, easy to get along with, considerate, someone who listens, gives advice, dares to make decisions, who is strict but also patient and honest.
What are your hobbies?
My hobby is traveling to different countries to see nature and experience new cultures and technology. I like reading. Reading keeps me learning new knowledge.
What’s your favorite family tradition?
My favorite family tradition is the Songkran Festival. Everyone in the family gathers together to pay tribute to our ancestors, pouring water to ask for blessings from parents and eating together. This is the most beautiful time because it brings family together, as we don’t get to see each other that much during the year.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
The fact that I have a key role in the company, as I can show expert colleagues in their field to do inventory accounting and work in my area.
What was your first job?
General accounting staff, clear the Value Added Tax system with accumulated outstanding problems.
What is your favorite thing about your career?
I am very pleased to work in the accounting and finance department which supports my career development as well as my personal growth.

I develop problem-solving solutions that help Sunstar increase profits.
What is the best part of working at Sunstar?
Working with pleasant and well-skilled colleagues. Every day there are new challenges that we master together to make the company even more successful in the future.
What would you like Sunstar to look like on its 100th anniversary?
I hope Sunstar has a clear vision for achieving sustainable development by then while striving to be a leading company that shows the world that we care about the environment, the staff, and the people who actually live there.
