What did you want to be when you were a kid?

As a kid I always wanted to be a photographer. I love taking pictures of family and friends to keep memories of good times spent together. I also like to use these pictures to create very personal birthday and special occasion cards for my family and friends.

How would your friends describe you?

I believe my friends would describe me as a kind, caring, dependable, and energetic person who loves to have fun.

What are your hobbies?

I enjoy taking motorcycle trips with my husband and friends. I also enjoy snowmobiling, ATVing, and going to the beach.

​​​​​​​ What’s your favorite family tradition?

I am a big family person. I look forward to spending time with my family and friends. I really enjoy hosting Christmas and summer BBQs.

What is your proudest accomplishment?

Being the “Best” aunt to my 3 nieces, great-niece, and 2 nephews. Nothing makes me happier than to be there for them and enjoy every minute of our time together. They all bring me so much joy! They consider me their second mom.

What was your first job?

My first real job was as a coat check girl at a local famous Italian restaurant. I soon applied to John O. Butler Co. (now Sunstar Americas, Inc.) in 1984 as a Customer Service/Order Entry Clerk and that was Thirty-eight years ago.

What is your favorite thing about your career?

I built my career at Sunstar Americas, Inc. and I enjoy working here for many reasons. Over the years, I learned teamwork, dedication, and loyalty.

Tell us in one sentence what you do at Sunstar.

I am the Accounts Payable and Payroll Supervisor managing several great employees.

What is the best part of working at Sunstar?

Having worked at Sunstar Americas, Inc. for many years I have co-workers who are now my close friends. Being at work is like being with family.

What would you like Sunstar to look like on its 100th anniversary?

I hope Sunstar Americas, Inc. continues to expand the product line to maintain healthy dental care while using more ecologically friendly products.
