What did you want to be when you were a kid?
Like many children, when I was young, I wanted to be a scientist to explore the unknown world. As I grew older, I thought it was very meaningful to be a teacher, so I wanted to become one to teach and educate people. Then I went to university for 7 years and studied, but unfortunately, I did not become a teacher in the end.
How would your friends describe you?
My friends probably think I am an honest and reliable person full of positive energy. They also think that there are two sides to my personality – the quiet side and the lively funny side.
What are your hobbies?
I like sports such as hiking, yoga and swimming. I also like to travel, go to different places to experience different local cultures and customs. Additionally, I enjoy studying and exploring the knowledge of history and Buddhism.
What’s your favourite family tradition?
Because I was born in a seaside city, I like the sea very much. My favourite family tradition is to go to an island on holiday, camping, swimming and barbecuing with my family every summer.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
Mount Kailash (Kang Rinpoche) is the second highest peak of the Gangdise Mountains in Tibet and is considered the centre of the world of the world by Tibetan Bönism, Hinduism, Jainism, and Buddhism. No one has ever reached the summit so far, and there are many merits in being able to circle around Kailash. So, my proudest accomplishment is that I hiked 52 kilometres around Kailash in two days and reached the highest altitude of 5680 meters, fulfilling a very important wish.
What was your first job?
My first job was the planning of imported personal care products, I was responsible for the planning and execution of marketing promotion activities, and formally entered the retail industry.
What is your favourite thing about your career?
What I like the most about my career is that I can meet many like-minded people, work hard with them towards common goals, show my abilities, realise my value and bring value to the company as well as my colleagues thanks to my efforts.
Tell us in one sentence what you do at Sunstar.
I am now in charge of the SHA Retail Sales Department, responsible for the sales of GUM and Ora2 in Chinese retail channels.
What is the best part of working at Sunstar?
I agree with Sunstar’s mission which is to “always strive to help people everywhere achieve better health and enhance their quality of life”. It is very valuable to strive together in such an enterprise.
What would you like Sunstar to look like on its 100th anniversary?
I hope Sunstar will have more international products and services, covering more countries and creating a “happy life and healthy future” for everybody around the world.
