Prof. Zaura is professor of Oral Microbial Ecology at the Academic Centre for Dentistry Amsterdam (ACTA). Her research topics and principal interests lie in oral microbial communities and oral microbial eco-system in health and disease, and in translating this fundamental knowledge to clinical practice.
