Attend our sessions at the FDI World Dental Congress
This year, we launched the ‘Sports & Dentistry’ project to raise awareness about the negative impact poor oral health has on sports performance with the FDI World Dental Federation. We developed four guidelines targeted to Professional and Amateur Athletes, Dentists and Sports Physicians, and Sports Organisations. During the congress, the FDI World Dental Federation will hold a round table to discuss the relationship between oral health and sports performance. The session will count with the Taskforce members of the project, Dr Sophie Cantamessa, President of the European Association for Sports Dentistry, Dr Sophie Dartavelle, President of the French Union for Oral Health, and Prof Takeda Tomotaka, Professor of the Department of Oral Health and Clinical Science, Division of Sports Dentistry, Tokyo Dental College.
In addition, we are also sponsoring the session ‘Oral Cancer: Prevention, Early Diagnosis, and Patient Management’ related to the Oral Cancer chairside guide we created last year with the FDI World Dental Federation.
